MASTR related products

We offer 3 types of MASTR related products : "454 MID kits" , "Short Read Amplification kits" and the "BRCA HP assay" :

The 454 MID kits have been conceived for 454 sequencing platform users.
After DNA amplification with a MASTR assay, you can tag the resulting amplicons with MID barcodes and pool your samples. The 454 MID kits also contain primers for Genescan analysis of the tagged multiplexes, allowing a quality verification before launching the actual sequencing reactions.
Every 454 MID kit contains :
  • 8 MIDs with 24 PCR reactions per MID : 192 PCR reactions in total
  • 192 PCR reactions for Genescan (FAM) labelling
  • Sufficient Taq enzyme to perform all PCRs  

The Short Read Amplification kits are to be used with short read sequencing technologies (SOLiD & Illumina). These kits contain reagents for an extra "Universal PCR" step (to eliminate excess primers) and Genescan QC.
Every Short Read Amplification kit contains :

  • 24 Universal PCR reactions
  • 24 PCR reactions for Genescan (FAM) labelling
  • Sufficient Taq enzyme to perform all PCRs   
The BRCA HP assay is designed to amplify homopolymer streches >6 bases and to detect mutations in these streches via fragment analysis.
This assay contains :
  • 100 PCR reactions
  • Sufficient Taq enzyme to perform all PCRs
