"Thanks to new Multiplicom test kits physicians are able to identify all the genetic mutations of a condition at once, and use this information to initiate the right - personalized - treatment.”
Application note: CNV calling with MASTR Reporter
The quality of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) results depends on a wide range of factors, from the quality of the initial sample, over the quality of the kit, to the way results are interpreted. Multiplicom aims to guide its customers every step of the way to achieve reliable results and has simplified this with the launch of the MASTR Reporter. This automated analysis tool provided effective and reliable analysis of MASTR data with integrated quality control. Given the reproducibility of our tests, CNV calling* can be reliably performed. We therefore included an optimized CNV calling algorithm in the MASTR reporter.
To guide you to optimal results for CNV analysis, we have written an application note. This note contains information on how to optimize your experiment and how the MASTR Reporter CNV calling algorithm works.
Please note that because our MASTR Reporter now includes an optimized CNV calling algorithm, we will discontinue the CNV calculator for the BRCA MASTR, the BRCA HC MASTR Plus and the BRCA MASTR Plus assay from the 17th of August.
