We developed the QC-Plex assay for fast and simple human genomic DNA quality/integrity verification. The assay is based on a carefully designed multiplex PCR using a standard PCR protocol, followed by agarose gel-electrophoresis. A PCR control fragment is included to determine the presence of PCR inhibitors.  
The QC-Plex generates 7 distinct bands on a agarose gel, if all 7 bands are clearly present, the DNA sample is of good quality for further analysis. Less bands means less quality.
With the QC-Plex, you are now able to quantify the DNA sample quality, and avoid downstream analysis costs when the DNA quality (or the extraction-method) is inadequate.
